Alamo Elementary

We are excited to serve as your PTA presidents and look forward to getting to know both new and returning Alamo School families. Collectively, we have children in most grades at Alamo this year! 

 

We will kick off the school year at our PTA coffee social with Principal Remmers on August 11th at 8:15 a.m. in the outdoor Amphitheater. Please join us for a second cup of coffee and learn about the fun programs we have in store for the upcoming school year! If you can’t attend the coffee social, we also encourage you to attend our general association meetings. They will be held quarterly, with dates forthcoming. 

 

The goal of Alamo PTA is to provide fun and engaging programs that promote community building and educational enrichment for our children. Alamo’s PTA is run entirely by parent volunteers - many of whom work full time while raising their children.  While completing your online registration, we ask you to please consider purchasing an Alamo School PTA membership. By purchasing the PTA membership, you are helping to fund a variety of school events hosted by the PTA. These activities include the Hoedown Fall Festival, Turkey Trot, Holiday Shop, VIP Day, Starstruck Talent Show, Movie & Science Nights, Parent Education events, school book fairs and so much more. The PTA also funds the homework club, the community garden and the Harvest of the Month program while coordinating room parents, the sister school program, etc.  

 

Parent volunteers are the cornerstone of the Alamo School PTA. Without our volunteers, none of our events would be possible.  Please take a look at the variety of volunteer opportunities available and join in where you can. Any time or effort you can contribute is greatly appreciated, as we recognize you are balancing many priorities. Your time is a gift, and no amount is too small.
