Alamo Elementary

 

Pack a picnic and come join the fun to watch the sunset! Telescopes will be setup on the playground with an open view of the night sky. The Mount Diablo Astronomy Society will be on site to explain to the students the differences between the different types of telescopes that are setup, talk about our Earth, the Sun and Solar system, and then follow up with views of objects in the night sky such as Planets, the Moon, Open and Globular clusters, nebulae and possibly other galaxies, if dark enough and visible.
