ThinkWorks Enrichment Programs
ThinkWorks enrichment programs provide after-school classes for TK-5th grade students and include math, chess, art, dance, and more!
Registration for the Fall 2026 session of ThinkWorks is now open through September 16 at 9pm! The session will take place the week of September 21 and continue into mid-December. Classes fill up quickly, so be sure to register right away.
A portion of each registration fee comes back to Alamo School Ed Fund.
Please note that classes are subject to change. Classes are also subject to cancelation if minimum participation is not met. For any questions, please email alamothinkworks@gmail.com.

Step into the worlds of Auradon Prep and Seabrook High in this exciting vocal performance class inspired by hit Disney movies Descendants and Zombies! Young performers will sing songs inspired by the Descendants and Zombies movies, learn fun, character-based choreography, create themed props or costume pieces, and rehearse for a final showcase full of Wicked style and Zombie power! We make Math FUN, ENGAGING & REWARDING
At Mathnasium, we build strong math foundations to help children succeed in school and life. Our math-only program is tailored to each student, starting with a detailed assessment to identify learning gaps and strengths, followed by a tailored curriculum delivered in an engaging and 1:1 teaching setting.
Program Highlights:

Level-Up LEGO Robotics (Grades 1-3) ~ 2:30 - 4:00pm

Make a hippo yawn, a truck transform, a dinosaur balance—this session, anything can be a machine. Students build in LEGO and Technic with real motors, and every machine grows in levels: build it, motorize it, make it bigger. Teachers keep each challenge just right so no one gets stuck or bored, and after every class families get a challenge report with photos of exactly what your student built.

Learn the art of persuasion! Students work in rotating groups and practice their debating skills in a supportive environment, including developing arguments, issuing rebuttals, providing examples, rebuilding their case and summarizing points of view.

Build a new theme park every class—water parks, space parks, safari adventures. Students are park designers and business owners: every math problem solved invites customers, builds rides, and grows the park. Behind the play is real grade-level math, Common Core-aligned and adjusted to each student's skill level, and after every class families get a recap of completed and challenging problems.

This fall-themed cooking class introduces grades 1–5 to classic autumn ingredients like apples, pumpkins, and warm spices. They also learn about fall produce, harvest time, and seasonal abundance.

Royals & Rebels is a dynamic Glee Club experience that explores music about power, courage, confidence, and standing out. Inspired by pop hits, movie soundtracks, and Disney favorites, students will explore both sides of performance - polished and powerful Royals, and bold, confident Rebels. Students will sing, move, and create performance props while exploring bold characters with powerful storytelling. With featured moments, optional solos, and creative prop making, singers shine as both fearless rebels and confident royals. The session culminates in a musical showcase where students bring character, confidence, and storytelling in a memorable performance.
