Why do we need Annual Giving Donations, and where does all that money go at Alamo School?

Alamo Elementary School, like many other schools in the area, receives very little funding from the district, state, and federal government. In order to provide high-quality programs, enrichment opportunities and dedicated classroom paraeducators, we ask for donations beginning at our Annual Giving Campaign during registration.

For the 2024-2025 school year, the Alamo EdFund is funding:
 
  • 10 classroom paraeducators
  • 2 reading intervention instructional assistants
  • 1 music teacher
  • 1 math intervention instructional assistant
  • Additional hours for Rainbow Room social emotional support
  • Additional library hours
  • Skyhawks organized lunchtime sports
  • Supplies for art, music, science, and library
 
These programs are funded exclusively by donations to the Ed Fund and wouldn't otherwise be available to our students. Your support really makes a difference!

Corporate Matching is an EASY way to DOUBLE your gift to the Alamo School Education Fund!
 
Don’t forget to take advantage of any corporate match program offered by your employer. Many require submissions within 30-60 days of donation.

The Alamo School Education Fund is a 501c3 non-profit organization and an affiliate of the San Ramon Valley Education Foundation. It is run by parent volunteers. Our mission is to raise money from families and the community to maintain and enhance the quality of education and the environment at Alamo School. The Ed Fund was established to bridge the gap between public funding and the funding necessary to provide all of the resources and activities that we have at Alamo. Donations are voluntary. Regardless of donations, curriculum and educational experiences will not be denied to any student.
